Monica N. Simpson is a native of Kansas City, Kansas and the founder of Sweet Curlz. monica began her natural hair journey in 2010 by transitioning for 18 mos. She noticed throughout her journey that many products that worked for her While she transitioned did not when she became fully natural. After becoming a product junkie and seeing half unused empty bottles on the shelf, she decided to take matters into her own hands by designing a product not only she would love but her hair would as well.
Prior to starting her business Monica worked in the healthcare field ranging from Pharmacy to Information Technology. Although she loves the healthcare field she believes her true passion is helping others in their Natural Hair Journey and showing them what it takes to achieve healthy hair that all women and kids desire. When Monica started her road to entrepreneurship she stated she wanted a product that not only worked but also was not emptying pockets. After all going natural should help save money right? Her products are not only affordable but worth the buy.
In short Monica's dream is to take over her community by encouraging everyone of all ages to love their natural hair, embrace it and to love the person God has made them to be.
